Publisher Rizzoli's coffee table book "Banksy" presents the largest presentation of artworks by the world's most enigmatic but highly sought-after artist, including iconic works, installation objects, ephemera and memorabilia.
Banksy is considered one of the most influential and discussed artists of recent years. This impressive collection includes hundreds of his iconic creations, such as ''Girl with Balloon', ‘'Pulp Fiction', ‘'Love Is in the Air', ‘'Barcode' and ''Monkey Queen'. In addition, the collection offers numerous paintings, screen prints, stencils and installation objects, as well as various memorabilia, many of which have never been shown before. This work was curated in collaboration with Pest Control, the organization that manages Banksy's works, making it as close to an official Banksy edition as is possible.
Banksy is considered one of the most prominent street art artists worldwide. His oeuvre is laced with political messages and sharp criticism of themes of inequality, injustice, consumerism and established power structures, while his identity remains a closely guarded secret.
